Fun at Club with the Witches Hat!

We had such fun at club this month making the witches hat!  This was in our Annual Inspirations and the directions are on www.jeannettelynton.com.

What do you do with a few scraps? Don't throw them away just yet!

After finishing some gifts for some orders and a couple of layouts, I had just a few scraps of our retired Balloon Ride paper left. I thought " I wonder if I can do something with these"
Here is what I started with

SOO, I got out some card bases and some old embellishments I had.  Here is what I ended up making:

And what was left over, just the zip strips and one small piece of B&T paper

SO, before you throw out those scraps- try and make a simple card with them.  On the flip side- don't save every tiny piece of scraps and never use them.  I will probably throw these out or give them to a customer that might have some of this paper left. The zip strip sayings don't really work for anything I made layouts for.

October workshops

Come and make this cute witches hat as well as 2-2 page layouts.  If you choose not to make one of the projects you will have extra paper and accessories.

Shadow box

We have 2 new shadow boxes, one white and one black.  12 by 12.  It opens so you can change out what is in there.  This one I made for my coworker who recently got married.  This week I hope to put together directions for the flowers, so check back!

Chore Chart

I will be ordering another one so each of my kids have one.  They have more chores than will fit on here!  :)  I colored coded them for each kid and my younger child, who can’t read has pictures instead of words.  The chores are on 2X2 canvas pieces with magnets on the back.

The two club layouts are here.  One for back to school- I took a 2 page layout and made it into 2 single page layouts, one for each kid.  and then a vacation layout-this paper is very versatile.

August Events!

I have a few events and specials this month!

August Club

August Club will held on Wednesday August 27th.  If you would like to join us, you have two options. 

1.  Do a layout $10 or free with $15 order that night.  Here is the layout

2. Purchase the entire kit for $25.  This includes the Wanderful paper pack, Wanderful assortment and Wanderful Compliments.  We will be doing 2-2 page layouts, 1 page layout and a mini album.  Mini Album template is from a SU consultant in the UK.  Her template can be found at www.getcreativewithtraci.co.uk.

Card Buffet

This month’s card buffet will be held on Friday July 22nd.  7-9 PM.  Cards are $2 and include envelopes.  Everything is precut-the papers are retired papers and there will be lots of sentiments to choose from-you just need to come and make your cards!  RSVP by Thursday the 21st to nikkidscraftyemail@gmail.com.  Check back for pictures of more cards.
