Use Your Stash Blog Hop for January

Hello!  If you are following along with the Use Your Stash Blog Hop, you have reached the last participant!

You probably got here from Casandra's Blog.

Our project this month was to use up some of our retired paper.  I choose 2 packs.  Superhero and Road Trip.

I used Superhero to scrap pictures from a few years ago at Lego Fest.  I knew the colors would go well together, but its been sitting there in my "to scrap" folder for a while so I finally dug them all out.

For the 8 X 10 on the left side, I simply ordered a collage print from my local Walgreens store, and changed the color of the border to white to make it stand out.  I cut the star out of a picture and placed it on a star chipboard, then used foam tape.  The bottom border strip is one of the zip strips from the b&t papers.

For Roadtrip, I scrapbooked a visit to the drive in.  That is one of our favorite summer activities, and this particular time was my son's first time.  It was funny because my son ended up watching a movie on the ipod touch instead of the movie up on the screen! I also used the compliments and stickers to match.  Enjoy the pics- and if you are just joining the hop- please go back to the beginning with Joy's Blog.

Reindeer Feeding!

Here is the layout I made with Sparkle and Shine with my kids spreading out reindeer food on xmas eve night for Santa's reindeer.

Used the Sparkle and Shine kit and compliments. The ornament overlay that covers both sides was made with our Cricut Artbooking cartridge on the Christmas layout button. The layout can be found in the Make it From Your Heart Vol 1.

Our hop this month focuses on our glitter gel which is being discontinued.
My project was my club project this month.  The Frosted Kit, stickease and assortment.  What I did was add the glitter gel to the trees on the right side.

Back in October, I also used the Glitter gel with the Huntington Kit with my club as well:The glitter in the small leaves is with the colored glitter gel as well: red, green and Almond

If you are interested in purchasing the glitter gel before it is gone, please see here on my website:Glitter Gel

some items for the holiday bazaar!

I participated in Wyoming’s Holiday Bazaar this morning. Here are some of my projects.  Didn’t sell as much as I would have liked, but at least I have some gifts already made.  :)

These little items have candy in them.  I thought they would make good teacher gifts, coworker gifts or for the mailman, etc. I did make a larger purse and put 2 test tubes in it as well.

This is one of our linen gift bags which I stamped first and colored with our alcohol markers.

This is one of our my creations star, covered with some of our sparkle and shine paper.

This is one of our my creations frames.  The paper and chipboard is from the kit last year.  The flowers were made with the Artiste cartridge.

This is a canvas layout with our Frosted paper pack with some Petal cardstock.  The overlay was cut with the Artbooking cartridge and the snowflakes on the white side are the negative space images from the overlay.

These are our clear pillow boxes, filled with garland.  The stamp set is from the November stamp of the month with Ruby ink and cardstock.

You can purchase many of these items on my website at nikkid.ctmh.com.
