Quarter Auction Thursday night!

Getting things ready for the Quarter Auction Thursday night!  I’ll attach pics of my “travel pack” I made for it!  and then next Tuesday night is our Christmas in July vendor event!

Today is the last day for the daily special for CTMH!  It was a box of $300 of product for only $125!!  It will be up till 9 am tomorrow EST so check it out!

We are visiting with the inlaws and having a nice visit.  I have to work during the day but they are all having fun doing things during the day, then we go to dinner at night! (and we all know how much i love to eat!  )

Productive weekend!

well i had a somewhat productive day today! i got my samples for the animal crackers workshop completed and a few layouts done!

Here are some pics of what i was able to do today!  i have Denise’s tastefully simple party tomorrow but hopefully i’ll get some more things done!! 

 

The last two pictures of layouts were done with premade level 1 kit, Magic Moments.  The other layout is of an exhibit I saw in Ocala with my mother of Princess Diana’s dresses.

today i got all my CTMH cardstock sorted and put into bags so i can find each type easier. that took a good couple of hours! but it will help in the long run!

Hope all is well for everyone! We are back from Disney and finally getting back into the swing of things! Please take a minute to read this, lots of information in this newsletter!

There seems to be some confusion in regards to the Workshops on the Go. The cost you pay for the workshop covers a level 2 kit, the matching stickers, a workshop guide (with a brand new layout not found in any of our other scrapbooking guides) and matching embellishments for the projects. We do not use all the paper or embellishments during the workshop, and you take home whatever you do not use! I received a lot of questions about clarifying that information, so there you go! :)

Upcoming events being planned for late summer and early fallCrops, Clubs and photography classes!
Crop: I will be planning a crop for late summer/early fall. If interested, please respond to me with whether a Friday night, or all day Saturday or Sunday works better. Many of you have been asking for one so I'd like to be able to schedule it when as many people can come as possible.

Cardmaking and Scrapbooking Clubs:
I'd like to see you all more!! Let's get the scrapbooking and card making clubs started again! I had to take a break b/c guard was getting pretty busy, but last month I resigned as the color guard instructor (after 11 years!) and now have plenty of time!
I'd like to do 5 month rotations. Membership between 5-10 people. Each month someone else will get to be the hostess and earn free hostess product, and we'll spend time each month getting you caught up on scrapbooking or cards! If interested, contact me for details. I'd like to start in August or September. I'd like to do seperate scrapbooking and card making ones, unless enough people are interested in joining a club doing both!

Photography classes:
I will also be planning a couple of simple photography classes in response to many of your questions/concerns about how to use your digital cameras or how simply to get better pictures taken (you do not have to be a scrapbooker to take these classes!)
It will be a 2 part series, the first being a lecture with tips, etc and the second will be a hands on in the park (perhaps as the leaves are changing, that will give us a nice backdrop for taking pictures) You will need to bring your camera and user manual to each class. I will be planning these for September and October. Space will be limited, so you will want to sign up quickly. Also, anyone who comes to 3 workshops between now and September will get attendance to the photography classes for FREE!!!

Busy weekend!

Well, I had a productive weekend!  Even with it being fathers day and having everyone over for dinner Saturday night!

Two slide shows for my two July workshops are attached, and I also made the folder for all of Kayley’s art work for this year.

Its been a while

well sorry its been a while since i’ve posted! We were gone to Disney for a full week and then got back and got into the swing of things again! 

I’ll be working on a lot of upcoming workshop stuff this weekend, so check back, but i wanted to make sure everyone checks out my CTMH website for the special of the day!  A mystery box of $120 for only $60!!   and a discount on shipping for it! 

Check it out!  Here are a couple pictures of our Disney trip. This was the first time Kayley was interested in getting autographs in addition to getting her pictures taken with them.  we saw so many characters this time, it was crazy!!!

Quarter Auction

Well we had the quarter auction last night and had a great time!  Had a little candy buffet for National Candy Month!  I had a great training Wednesday night facilitated by one of my uplines in Hawaii!  We had 5 different speakers, and the training was great!

We’ll be spending the rest of the weekend getting ready to leave!  Kayley and I have to be at the airport at 6 PM Sunday.  Chris and the band leave on the bus at 1 PM on Monday and drive all day/night so we’ll meet up with them when they get off the bus Tuesday morning at the Animal Kingdom.

Getting ready for the quarter auction and vacation!

I made a few projects for the quarter auction.  Disney themed of course! Using the last of the Giggles and Grins paper I had!  Hopefully they go over well. I made a 6X6 my creations fold out album and altered a small canvas for a picture and altered a pen.  I wanted to make an autograph book but I’m not sure I have enough paper left so I’ll have to try that tomorrow!

We leave for Disney on Sunday night!  Can’t wait even though it will be crowded being the summer time.  Mom is picking Kayley and I up from the Orlando airport Sunday night and hanging out with us most of the day on Monday.   Chris leaves Monday afternoon with the band taking the bus down.

We have so much to get done before we leave! So here’s hoping we get everything done!
